This past week our deacons quorum went for a week long scout camp. It was really fun. we were camp sight #1... It was called cardiac hill. It was about 70 old wood steps we took to get to our camp sight. I shared a tent with my best friend Dallas, and my friend Dallin. the tents were just a wood platform with a tarp over it. It was not sealed up. there was tons of room for anything to climb in...! And they did! there were tons of daddy long legs in our tent. We would start off looking and there would be none. Then in the night when we got up to go to the bathroom there was like a moving carpet of spiders and bugs there was nothing we could do about it so we just went into out sleeping bags and hid!!! In the morning we had to wake up at 6:00 AM for breakfast. The food started of bad and then got better each day. I got three merit badges. We were catching Crawdads in the lake. We caught 112 of them! We got big ones to. We made fishing poles out of sticks and plants. We used beef jerky or there own tails for bait. We all got buzzes. (we shaved our hair short) Even Cole the new kid that had hair down to his shoulders!!! I had fun and am exited for next year.
